CompEx Ex01RPP–Ex04RPP Course

This course is aimed at qualified electrical or instrumentation technicians who:

Already hold a valid CompEx Ex01–Ex04 certificate
Need to renew their accreditation before expiry
Work in industries where hazardous area compliance is essential (oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, manufacturing)

This course ensures experienced technicians maintain their recognised competence and continue working safely in hazardous areas.

This course refreshes core knowledge and practical competence through a mix of updated theory and hands-on exercises, covering:

Current IEC, ATEX, and DSEAR regulatory updates
Installation and inspection principles for Ex equipment
Verification of Ex markings, documentation, and certification
Safe isolation, maintenance, and permit-to-work systems
Practical assessments with real Ex apparatus and wiring systems

Delegates will complete both written and practical assessments under CompEx-approved conditions, leading to:
