CompEx Ex11 Mechanical Course

The CompEx Ex11 course provides practical training and assessment for personnel working with non-electrical mechanical equipment in hazardous areas. It covers mechanical protection concepts, installation, inspection and maintenance of Ex-rated equipment.
- Prerequisites: Mechanical background or relevant industry experience recommended.
- Target audience: Mechanical technicians, maintenance personnel and engineers working with non-electrical equipment.
- Course Duration: 3 Days
- Assessment: Practical mechanical assessment and written knowledge test.
- Certification: CompEx Ex11 Certificate in Mechanical Hazardous Area Competence.
- Certificate validity: 5 Years.
- Revalidation: 5 Years.
- PPE Required: Basic mechanical PPE for practical elements (gloves, safety boots, safety glasses).
- Items to bring: Government issued photographic ID e.g. Driver Licence or Passport.
