CompEx Ex05–Ex06 Dust Course
10th – 12th March 2027
The CompEx Ex05–Ex06 course provides competency-based training and assessment for working on electrical equipment in combustible dust hazardous areas. It covers installation, inspection and maintenance of Ex equipment in Dust Zones 20, 21 and 22.
- Prerequisites: Recognised electrical qualification and CompEx Ex01–Ex04 is recommended.
- Target audience: Electricians and technicians working in combustible dust hazardous areas.
- Course Duration: 3 Days
- Assessment: Online theory exams and practical assessments for Ex05 & Ex06.
- Certification: CompEx Certificate of Core Competence (Units Ex05–Ex06).
- Certificate validity: 5 Years
- Revalidation: Renew every 5 years with a CompEx refresher course.
- PPE Required: Safety boots, overalls, safety glasses and gloves.
- Items to bring: Government issued photographic ID e.g. Driver Licence or Passport.
