Centrica Storage Ltd are leading the way for Offshore Compliance with the Rough fields 47/8A Alpha and 47/3B Bravo as well as the Easington Terminal.
Cenelec Standards Inspections Ltd were selected to manage and carryout Electrical & Instrument BSEN600/79.17 Inspection programmes to ‘Close’ and ‘Detailed’ grades of Inspection utilising our sophisticated electronic steering vehicle of hand held inspection PDA’s (Personal Digital Assistant) to enable extreme efficiency in reporting results back to client Engineers for analysis.
The contract incorporates managing activities for Planned Preventative Maintenance, planning Gap analysis, safety investigation of incidents, defect reporting, reliability reporting, root cause analysis of consistent failures, recommendations to root cause analysis, obsolescence notification reports and recommendations for cost reductions.
The project includes maintaining all lighting, public address systems, heat tracing, small power, function testing of emergency lighting systems at 6 monthly intervals and bulk re-lamping programmes planned and monitored.
The project is driving towards DSEAR Compliance Accreditation for Inspection and Maintenance endorsed by UKAS for Quality systems to ISO9001-2008 Accreditation which will enable the Easington Terminal as well as the Rough Fields Alpha and Bravo to achieve leading status for Inspection requirements in the UK.
