During the last economically challenging couple of years Cenelec Standards Inspections Ltd have had many enquiries from companies who are looking at ways to comply with the mandatory requirements in the most cost effective way.
Often, companies approach Cenelec when they have been issued with improvement notices from the HSE as they have no records or systems in place to provide evidence of ‘Close’ and ‘Detailed’ grades of Inspection are being carried out, along with the associated Repair completions, but simply don’t have the budget to subcontract the full required works.
Cenelec Standards can assist those companies by offering bespoke Data Management Services utilising the clients own resources to carry out the Inspections.
Cenelec’s Data Management package consists of:
- Leasing the services of our Copyright bespoke software application and handheld devices.
- Train your Inspectors how to use the handhelds to carry out the Inspection and send the data via a laptop issued by Cenelec.
- Manage the received data via our head office Engineering Dept and host your results to our secured website for your access and HSE auditing.
- Issue you your inspection data in alternative formats through email and generate written Project Reports on the results of the Inspection findings.
- Issue full technical back-up and direct phone support service in the event of hardwear or software issues and immediate site visit in the event that technical problems cannot be resolved over the phone.
- Issue DSEAR Compliance Certification for Hazardous Area Inspection endorsed by UKAS QAISO9001-2008 for Quality Systems.
- A potential saving of up-to 60% on full package costs by using your own resources to complete the works.
- Fully insured for Hardwear damage caused on site.
As part of our criteria to maintain our Quality accreditations we would require the following from your own resource personnel.
- CV with associated qualifications
- CompEx Certificate
- Signature to upload into the software application
An alternative leasing option is in the event Cenelec Standards carry out your Hazardous Area Inspection Requirements and issue you with the repair completions, which you intend completing with your own resources. Cenelec can lease handheld devices fully-loaded with the outstanding repair requirements associated with your site to enable you to complete the repairs and ‘sign off’ the works to ‘close the loop’ on the system which is fed back to your Cenelec database from docking the handhelds over VPN (Virtual Private Network) direct to our Head-Office servers.
